Trivia night money due
Payment for your Trivia Night tickets is now due.
Can those who have booked please get the money to Karen Cooper as soon as possible.
Draw changes
You may feel inconvenienced to be told your game has been changed or you have a Sunday catch up game.
But the Association is trying to make up the backlog of matches due to the wet weather.
Thanks Margaret
Thank to Margaret Hardwick for the donation of a computer, 2 work stations, filing cabinet and other items.
They are much appreciated.
The computer is for Committee use only and not a toy to be played with by children.
Clubrooms
Let’s have some pride our clubrooms, any help is appreciated.
If you use equipment please return it after use, or if you are having a team talk upstairs rturn everything to whre it was originally - AND clean up any rubbish you create.
If the clubrooms are a mess after training iy only takes a few minutes to sweep the area clean - there are plenty of brooms!
P & D information
Any player sent from the field of play with a red card MUST attend the P&D Committee on Wednesday night at 7pm at the Trotting Club.
This doesn’t apply to a second cautionable offence where a player is automatically stood down for one match.
The Secretary MUST be advised promptly of the outcome of a P&D hearing to monitor the suspension given to a player.
New playing strips
With the help of a donation from Milo-Nestlé we have purchased 5 new playing strips.
They have been purchased through Adidas and will be used exclusively by our junior ladies teams.
See the light
A message to all teams playing at night ...
... Make sure that your manager takes a torch to the game.
It is most likely you will find a use for it.
Outside the ropes?
To the ground marshall who orderd a linesperson outside the ropes ...
... He is supposed to be INSIDE the ropes!
Club co-operation
Many thanks to the AA3 management from the Premier League 1 squad.
With only 2 hours notice Peyer Moy arranged for the AA3 keeper Grant Rogers to be at Playford at 6.30pm on Wednesday as both PL1 goalies were unavailable.
Many thanks, but we will need Grant again as the lights went out in first grade.
Grant you did a great job.
Compman update
That little man in the box has done it again.
The latest update of Compman has changed the All Age Ladies players to Over 35 players.
That should bring some talent into the competition.
Look out - it may re-classify the coaches and managers as players - that would be interesting.
Feeling better?
Our vice president Bob Bell recently had a stay in hospital.
Something to do with a couple of stones - not the weight vareity.
Somebody said it is as painful as having a baby. Bob did you look at the sign on the ward.
Glad to see you up and around again.
Match reports decline
Since the resumption of games after the wet weather there has been a distinct drop in the number of match reports submitted.
Maybe it is beacuse people got out of the habit of writing them during the break.
Come on, especially you junior teams, let’s get in the habit again!
