Welcome back to earth boys and girls, the last comp game we played we finished on a high that cannot be matched, today we were brought back to earth with a thud. It is always going to be hard when you tell the coach what you should be doing and what position you should be playing. At half time I thought we were in with a chance to get back those 2 goals and give them a good run however that wasn�t to be. For the entire first half you were beaten by two kids from Norths and I was going to tell you how to try and stop them. But alas we didn�t hear a word at half time from the poor old coach. We went back on with 14 players because you might remember you told me what positions you were playing and who was good in those positions. Well it didn�t work � they put another 3 past you easily. Overall a good welcome back and justification to what I have been saying to you all year. 2nd division isn�t going to be easy. Maybe when we listen to the coach and play where we are put we might actually be competitive and at least look like we know what we are doing. Encouragement award today to all the parents for actually watching what was on display out there.
