Mamma used to always say that �son if you aint got anything nice to say, don�t say nuttin at all�. This report will be longer. What a difference a day makes. (hmmm good name for a song). The guys all turned up, and turned it on. The backs started the proceedings by defending well, one notable goal save where our goalie Eth, got a leg to it and the backs cleared the ball from the open goal mouth with the opposition bearing down. Well done. Then they started PASSING the ball, with Daniel, Jake A, Blake and Brendon putting some supurb passes through. They were then matched by the forwards who, today, layed the ball of to players in a better position. The result was 4 good goals. It may have benn a little better if we can just get Jason to get over the top of the ball. His last shot was seen bouncing on Canterbury Road. Zac Brooke had a busy game and had a couple of nice crosses, whilst Enver had a powerful shot at goal from outside the box, stopped only by an opposition hand (who unfortunately wasn�t the goal keeper). Tonksie took the shot, with the policy of going through the goal keeper rather then around him. Nice hit mate but next time, try kicking away from him. Good solid games by Adam, Justin, Aaron and Chris all meant that we looked like a football team.
