A great match and a fitting result finishing at one all. Both teams played very well, moving the ball from one end of the field to the other. Great attack and defence was displayed by both teams which was the reason the game was so exciting to watch. The team were one nil down early in the second half but the kids kept their cool and fought back to one all with ten minutes to go, thanks to a brilliant goal from Etienne Couret. All the kids gave 110% and never stopped trying, none more so than Nathan Anderson who threw himself at everything. The score could have been a lot higher if it wasn�t for the superb goalkeeping skills of Michael Spanos, which earnt him one of the player of the match awards. The other award went to Stephen Evripidou who kept attacking all day. As an exhausted referee for the match I can tell you it was a fast and furious match but was played in the true spirit of the game. Keep having fun kids.
