You've no doubt heard the term Short!! We started the game with seven player which eventually ballooned to eight. This meant the original game plan went straight in out the window. With no chance of interchange when playing an opposition with full team plus reserves, we had no choice but to play a tight defensive pattern. The girls played well only to be 3-Nil down in the first half. 2nd Half saw a complete revision of the game plan, the girls energy levels were low, but with some changes to their midfield strategy they were able to turn the game around. There were cracker goals scored by Leisa, Mel & Brooke and some great teamwork by the rest of the team. With a liitle more time I think would could have won. It was a monumental effort by all concerned. Well done Girls.
