It was good to see the etams back on the field after all the wet weather. Somehow Padstow manager to hold us to a drawn result. Hornets only had the one opportunity and they were able to find the net. We were unlucky not to score more than the single goal. Benen hit the cross bar and the Hornets keeper was kept busy throughout from a range of shots that never crossed the line. Matthew scored from some great lead up work from Benen and everyone thought he had scored another minutes from the end of the game, except for the referee! Overall it was a solid effort against pretty keen opposition. Brendan received the award for a well played game and Toni deserves a mention for a non-stop effort. well done team.
