Padstow have improved 1,000% from what we seen in the first round and certainly showed up to play today. In what is probably the prelude to the final series this year, a dire struggle evolved in front of us on the field. Both teams had their chances with us having the best chance in the first 15 minutes with the Padstow keeper saving twice to stop Brandon putting one in the net. Then it was their turn to sneak one past Yianni who despite diving as far as he could the ball slipped past him into the net. Then just before half time Ruffy played a perfect ball the PL boys would have been proud of, through a little hole to the waiting feet of Brandon who calmly ran it around the keeper this time to put it in the back of the net. The second half continued from end to end with both teams creating their chances only to be turned back by the keepers and the fullbacks. Well played today by all - Man of the match - Luke Conroy - well done Luke.
