Well we went down to the competition front runners 3 -0 but we certainly had our chances to put a few away, one even without them having a keeper but it wasnt to be. Great games by the twins and the backs in Eddy, Dan, Johnny and James did there best to hold them out. Am not going to write too much this week as have the flu and can hardly type straight, but we can beat any team we have faced this year. The point is we need to listen more and not just nod our heads at training but really listen, we cannot win if we continually kick the ball to the opposition. We must look up and pass the ball to one of ours, not just blindly kick it, its that simple and its that easy. We kick the ball out and away from our goal, only to have it land at the feet of the opposition who return the ball straight back, only this time they dont kick it back to us, they kick it to the sides and make another run at our goals. If we stop doing that and we mark up and challenge for the 50/50 balls then the competition is ours for the taking. We have quite a bit of talent in our team this year and its both a blessing and a curse, a blessing when we beat 2 or 3 opponents and make a break down the side, and a curse as we dont pass it in and the last man takes it of us and it all comes to nothing. Enough said, lets work on it!
