With these two teams facing off again it was always going to be a bit of an arm wrestle with us having the upper hand from the two previous matchups. The game went as expected - they matched us in all the aspects except for the fact we had speed and determination in our forward line. The game went on and on and talk of extra time was echoing around the sidelines when Brandon ran the ball around the fullbacks from the left and his shot was denied by the near post which only set the ball up perfectly for our princess Anastasia to slot home the winner. Now I'm no advertising guru but I'm sure that Emanuel who was doing the line on the far side was in the Toyota adds and word has it that he is still grinning over the goal. All of you deserve a mention today and played well with one in particular - Daniel had a blinder and seemed to relish the challenge of playing as a defensive midfielder. Lets remain quietly confident and remember even though we were the minor premiers - we haven't beaten this team all year. Please parents this week, no fanfare or streamers until after the match - when we win we celebrate but only then.
