This week was an exciting win with tremendous effort from every single player. The kids are really playing as a team and are improving every game. After winning last week, it was a great boost for their confidence and they were over the moon to win two games in a row. Our player of the match was EMILY who played an amazing game and gave 150% showing us her determination and drive by scoring a goal with confidence and moving around the field, keeping up with the play the whole time. DYLAN had his best game ever and raised his hands excitedly in the air when he scored his first goal for the season. To his delight he kicked another goal and just in case the referee was not sure if the ball was in, KIERAN came through following it up with a strong kick into the net. KIERAN also scored his own goal and it was a tribute to his efforts this season with so many times nearly scoring a goal, it was very rewarding to see his goal finally be awarded. MADISON received the McDonalds award for her efforts in keeping up with play and moving the ball down the field. KATANA received an award for her great play and her positive sportsmanship towards her team mates. BRAYDEN received an award for being switched on and always had his focus on the play. CAMERON had the crowd cheering when he saved the goals with ease and as soon as the ball came towards the goal area he was switched on and was not going to let one of them in! TRENT and TARA kicked with force and motivation, many times coming out of nowhere to get the ball away from the opposition. The crowd will roar the day that MATTHEW finally scores a goal because each week you can see the fire in his belly when he puts in all the hard work to take the ball from one end of the field to the other. He really wants to score and goal. A GREAT TEAM EFFORT!
