Padstow did not want to be here and only put up a token performance. Up 7 nil at half time, the backs were given a chance to show what they could do, which was OK except for the number of times they got caught for off side. Jason scored the goal of the game, just like Ned Zelic's in extra time against Holland, from the goal line between the keeper and the near post and into the net at the far post. Byron had a crack from 25 metres that nearly broke the cross bar but unfortunately bounced out. George from United niggled Tait the whole game but he managed to ignore him. Some really nice goals scored with excellent crosses and some good headers to put it away. Semis next week, well maybe, waiting on BDASA. Goal scorers were Tait 3, Matt Findlay 2, Baxter, Beryl, Joel, Wade and Jason.
